CALL FOR PAPERS
Practitioners and researchers who wish to contribute are invited to submit a summary of their work, according to the themes of the conference, observing the following:
- Abstracts and papers should be sent via Internet, through the LARES Conferences Management System. Detailed information about the submission process is available at the SUBMISSION page.
- Abstracts and papers can be prepared in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
- Since this is an international conference, in the case of submission in Portuguese or Spanish, it is also required the preparation of the resume in English.
- Only original papers relating to at least one of the conference and not published elsewhere will be accepted.
- All entries submitted will be evaluated by peers, and given the accepted according to the reviewer's recommendation, registration status of the authors, and the opinion of the scientific committee.

BEST PAPER AWARDS
Best paper award: Appraisal Institute - IBAPE / SP
The Appraisal Institute, through IBAPE SP, will sponsor a prize of USD 1,000 for the best work focused on Real Estate Appraisal presented at the 10th LARES International Conference. All articles dealing with the issue will be automatically considered for the award.
Best paper award: ABECIP - Brazilian Association of Savings and Loan
Traditional supporter of LARES events, the ABECIP offers the prize of USD 1,000 to the best work on the topics: housing, mortgages, financing systems and national experiences and Latin America.
Best paper award: ICSC - International Council of Shopping Centers
Repeating the success of the 2009 event, the ICSC will sponsor once more the USD 1,000 prize for the best paper with focus on retail & shopping centers, thereby encouraging the development of high-level research on the subject in Latin America.
Best paper award: Emerald Publishing - Journal of Property Management
The International Journal of Property Management, published by Emerald Publishing, will sponsor the award for best paper in category Property Management. The articles will be selected by the scientific commission among the works that address issues related to land use and development, marketing and leasing, maintenance and refurbishment of assets. The winning entry will receive a free subscription to the journal, an award certificate and, after the peer review editorial process, the winning entry will be considered for publishing in the journal. The publication of the work is subject to [i] translation of the complete article into English by the authors and [ii] in the submission and approval procedure of peer review, conducted by the editors of the journal.
