It is a great pleasure for LARES (Latin American Real Estate Society) to invite academic professors, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, students and other agents within the Latin America Real Estate sector to participate at the VIII LARES International Real Estate Conference, to be held September, 3-5, 2008, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The conference will be held at Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, house of the Real Estate Research Group, leading on Real Estate research in Brazil.

On its 8th edition, the conference is expected to have a larger attendance than previous ones, and will be focused on debating the challenges, trends, and opportunities on the Real Estate industry. Each edition, LARES conferences have been consolidated as an important instrument to promote integration among researchers on several Real Estate related fields, creating a synergy between academy and the industry. This exchange has allowed the identification of societal demands for knowledge as well as the discussion of ongoing research works. The effects of such synergy benefit in a great manner the Real Estate sector, creating value at each new edition of the event.

The 2008 conference will have the special contribution of researchers that are members of sister societies, with special attention to ARES and ERES, North-American and European Real Estate societies, respectively.
